Mikhael Tara Garver is a D.C. born, Brooklyn-based and proud Chicago-bred theater director and choreographer.  She has led the way in ground-breaking immersive productions on subways, in rock clubs, throughout museums, with technology, in theaters, and major large-scale events for the past 15 years throughout the U.S. 


Her work and writing has focused on devising political and socially active work in disused and developing spaces.  She has collaborated with artists in Detroit, London, New York, Chicago, Portland, and Kansas City to name a few.
